He has a decorated history in the game of golf. Starting off at the young age of 10, Skip learned the play of the game from his grandfather. From there, he enjoyed the game as a pastime but in 2006 decided to make it his career. He passed the PGA Playing Ability Test in July 2007, entered the PGA program in July 2008, and in 2010, won his first professional tournament at the Westchester Golf Association Pro-Am at Mt. Kisco Country Club. Since then, he is now in his 17th year as Director of Golf Instruction for YAC, Head Coach of the Yorktown High School Varsity Golf Team and has 4 career Holes in One. Each week, the format will be different to create new and exciting matches. The league will offer 15 weeks of nine hole golf on Tuesday’s late afternoon/early evening with tee times. The League starts on Tuesday, May 12th. Open to men of all skill levels, 18+ years of age. The all inclusive fee includes green fees, cart fee, prize money, scoring, and handicap. All league members will also receive a complimentary voucher for a weekday, 18 hole round of golf with cart included. The fee is only $825 and for members of Somers National Golf Club is $375.
